About Dr. Isaacs
Scott D. Isaacs, M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.E. is a board-certified endocrinologist, obesity medicine specialist and medical director at Atlanta Endocrine Associates. He attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine and continued on for residency and fellowship in Endocrinology, Lipids, Diabetes and Metabolism.
He currently serves as a clinical faculty member at Emory University School of Medicine. Since 1998, Dr. Isaacs has focused his medical practice on endocrinology and medical weight loss. Dr. Isaacs has published research on diabetes, thyroid and obesity in medical journals. A frequent speaker to national and international groups, he is a Diplomate of the American College of Physicians and American Board of Obesity Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Endocrinology.
Dr. Isaacs is past president of the Georgia Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and currently serves AACE on a national level. Dr. Isaacs is past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the Atlanta Diabetes Association. Dr. Isaacs is an expert contributor for ABC, CNN, NPR, numerous national magazines, newspapers, websites and television shows.
